Starting September 1, Coca-Cola will introduce a newly designed can featuring the Islamic crest and star as part of a month long celebration of Ramadan. The design will only appear on cans sold in Muslim countries. Read more

It’s one of those defining moments in time when you’ll always remember where you were and what you were doing when you first heard the news. You would think a large public company, especially one that markets heavily toward children, would at a minimum remain neutral when it comes to issues like homosexuality. McDonald’s apparently doesn’t agree as they unapologetically endorsed homosexuality by making a $20,000 donation to the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). Read more

China Earthquake: A Firsthand Account

Yesterday my three sons and I went up to the earthquake stricken zone to bring water, food, clothes and tarps to people near BeiChuan. We went past MianYang into JiangYou and then westward towards Beichuan. We went through some very small villages. The further west we went the more destruction we saw. When we got closer to Beichuan the road was closed. They would allow us in by foot but told us that everyone had been evacuated already. Since we wanted to pass out supplies and bless people we turned around and looked for people in need. Read more
