Site of the Day

Having four daughters 13 and younger, this is a site I refer to on a regular basis. While not specifically a Christian website, Kids in Mind provides the most detailed movie reviews you’ll find anywhere. But these aren’t your typical “two thumbs up” style of movie reviews.

Guide 2 Games

Check out this site before buying your child the latest hot game. As a gamer myself, and the father of four daughters that love to play the xBox any chance they get, I’m very conscious about what type of games I let them play. Many of us grew up with Atari 2600, Intellivision and Nintendo and game content just wasn’t a serious issue at that time. But games today have become extremely realistic and many, if not most, contain graphic language, extreme violence, sexual content and even the occult.

Guide2Games reviews the latest games and rates each on a scale of 1 to 5 in the following categories: Christian Rating, Game Play, Violence, Adult Content and Overall Rating. Don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s a video game so it must be safe for children. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Spotlight on Entertainment takes a look at the latest movies and television shows from a Christian viewpoint. Each movie receives a ‘moral rating’ and a movie quality rating. A great resource to check before you head out to the movies with the kids.

Anyone who has visited the secular video sites knows how much trash is out there. GodTube is a fast growing community of Christians sharing thousands of Christian videos… without the trash.
