Thread: A question

    A question

If God plans to take us all into Heaven, then why bother with this 'flesh' life?
Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it, because it does. - 1 Corinthians 14:1 (The Message)

I have not found anywhere in scripture that He plans on taking us to Heaven, but Heaven comes to us.
Heaven is a state of being, more than a place of going.

Jesus said, I go to prepare a place for you, that where I am, (which He at the time was on earth or was He?) there you may be
    also.

Psa_25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
Psa_37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
Psa_37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Psa_37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
Mat_5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

We are to be in both, this is God's doing and it is marvelous.
    Earthly situated,
    Heavenly minded.

1Co 15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
1Co 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
1Co 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

when you asked about "this flesh Life" you must be referring to the corruptible, and the mortal, (apt to die),
But remember, this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
