Trouble with Windows Update

I've got the windows update blues....

So, it looks like I need my Windows XP disc which is buried in storage because the box went there by accident. One site I found says I need to re-run Windows XP:

Another error I'm having with my anti-spyware shows

and calls for some stuff that I don't think I will get to resolve because it's too complicated...

I wish I was closer so I could help. One solution is see if you can barrow someone's XP and use your key or you can have Ubuntu send you a free Linux CD http://www.ubuntu.com/
