~TREE OF LIFE~

There is a tree of life
that lived among life's thorns
there is a Savior who gives hope
when one feels sorrow or is all alone.

Jesus is the Vine,
He gives life to all who are in Him,
Souls are made fruitful,
as they abide in their dearest friend.

It is Jesus, who is God's only Son
who is as a Tree of life,
only He could be a perfect sacrifice
to take away our sin and strife.

We need Jesus every day
as through this life we go,
for only through His power
can we be victorious against our foe.

Let the love of Jesus
fill your heart and life today,
He'll never leave or forsake you,
as in His arms you stay.

Blessings In Christ,

~ Free In Christ~

Free in Christ, from the bondage of sin,
Free from the law, and things of the past,
Looking to the Lord, as upon Him, we depend,
His Covenant of Grace will forever last.

Only the blood of a perfect lamb freely given,
Could atone for man's sins and make a way to heaven
Supplied by the Father, through His perfect plan,
We have been saved by his blood and been forgiven.

The seal of the Spirit within our hearts
Has proclaimed us to be a child of the King,
Free from sin and born again of God,
We will worship Him as His praises we sing.

Blessings in Christ,

~IT'S LIKE A SYMPHONY~

Unity in the body of Christ
is like the melody of a symphony
when each member cares for one another,
we exalt the One, who died to set us free.

The music of the heart is like that of an orchestra
together each one has a part,
each person is important to God,
working together, reaching out to hurting hearts.

It's like a symphony, when we see unity
and know that Jesus is the Lord of all,
for when we join as one, in the name of God's Son,
our Lord will answer, as on His name we call.

As notes of praise, to God we raise
we magnify our Lord in the bond of peace,
a symphony of unity ascends to heaven's throne
God's love for us will never cease.

~CHOICES~

Each day we make many choices
We all chose which path we will travel in life
There is only one choice in which we can rejoice,
Jesus waits to receive us, He'll take away sin and strife.

The broad road leads to destruction
Those who walk this way are being lead astray,
The narrow road leads to eternal life,
Jesus has gone before us. He's prepared the way.

The choices we make each day
Determine our future and eternal destiny,
We must make our calling and election sure,
Jesus will lead us, if we will seek Him and pray.

~GIVING THANKS~

We give thanks for family, friends, and our God who forever lives
Thanksgiving is in our hearts for God's love, which will never end,
We're thankful for others, who are a blessing only God can give,
We thank Him for salvation and redemption us from sin.

We have so many things for which to give God praise
We could never count all our blessings, He freely gives us each day.
Our Loving Savior is always there to comfort and lead us on,
One day He shall come to take us, to our eternal home.

We must pray one for another and intercede as God commands
He will hear our prayers and holds us in the palm of His loving hands,
There is no other who can make our lives complete and whole,
We praise God above for sending His Son Jesus, to save our soul.

A "warm-n-cozy" greeting

Our lives were like an old broken violin
which could not share a melodious song,
we needed divine help and transformation
Jesus saw our hearts, and all that was wrong.

He fixed the strings of our lives with grace
just as He knew they should be,
gave us a new melody of grace and love,
when He died on Calvary, to set our souls free.

The broken vessels which we used to be
without true peace or joy within,
were seen by Jesus, with His amazing grace,
He took away the stains and guilt of sin.

Though once our lives were out of harmony
as forgiveness had not yet been decreed,
He saw how His grace could transform us
though the power of His blood, He set us free.

The moment we called upon Him in faith
and trusted in His holy name,
Jesus reached down to restore our brokenness
He away our guilt and shame.

No longer are we without peace or hope
the grace of God is amazing
He reached down with a love that cannot fail,
redeemed us by His grace, that's still saving.

God's grace will always be amazing
His love, we'll never deny,
for by His mercy and great lovingkindness,
our souls have been redeemed and stand justified.

~TOGETHER WE SHALL STAND~

Take my hand and I'll take yours
Together I know we shall stand,
We'll share each other's burdens as together we pray,
Jesus will be with us, from here to the promised land.

As we seek the Lord and lean not to our own understanding
Together, we can put the enemy to flight
God will fight our battles as we join together as one,
Together we can make it,through the darkest night.

We are strengthened and encouraged by one another
There is power when all work together, for God's glory,
Open and honest communication will bring unity,
Together we shall worship God, and share salvation's story.

~ALL GAVE SOME--SOME GAVE ALL~

We remember those today who served our Country in any capacity.
We also take time out for a moment of prayer for our Nation, our President,
lawmakers, and all in active duty or reserves, across this land,
as well as their families. May we always remember our soldiers in
prayer.

November 11th is the Day set aside as a very important holiday to observe
Veteran's Day in this country. In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower
signed a bill into law for this day to be in honor of our country's veterans.
This day was formerly called 'Armistice day' as President Woodrow Wilson
had proclaimed it as such in 1919, and it became a national holiday in 1938.

On this day, our County has many patriotic speeches, parades, and other
observances in honor of those who served in the Armed Forces. Many lost
their lives, and many have the scars of battle or memories of time spent
in service for our Country. Thousands are buried in Arlington National
Cemetery outside Washington, D. C., and other cemeteries, who gave their lives
in time of battle. These, as the unknown soldier, are gone, but not forgotten.
This is the day we set aside in remembrance of all who gave willingly to
protect the freedom of their Country. We give thanks for these as we
remember, and also those who are serving today.

We have seen wars and battles since Bible days. Even in Old Testament
days , the Lord told his people to go in and possess the land. He had given
them the land, it was up to them to go in and drive out the enemy as He went
before them. They fought for their freedom and what had been given them
by the Lord. These Saints of old were in a battle against the forces of evil, and
many of these lost their lives, but gained a far better country. When we read
Hebrews 11, we see the heroes of the faith and how they endured by seeing what
the Lord had prepared for those who believed in Him. We also remember these as
ensamples, ( examples), and know if we fight the good fight of faith, we also shall
enter into all the promises of the Lord and his eternal rest. We are in the greatest
Army of all and have been given mighty weapons of warfare and the whole
armor of God.

In this day of terrorist threats, wars, and rumors of war, there is still hope in
God. He promised never to leave us or forsake us. Blessed is a Nation whose
God is the Lord. As we join in prayer for our Nation and all across this
world, may we remember the price paid for our freedom. Many gave all.....all gave
some, and there are those today still willing to serve their Country for the sake
of freedom. We know not what the future holds for our Country, but we do know
who holds the future. In Him, we can be secure, as He will be with us always.

Our Lord gave His all that we might have everything. He willingly laid down
His life that we might have a new life and take up our cross daily to follow him.
We are soldiers in the Army of our Lord and have a Commander-In-Chief who
goes before us every day to lead us in victory. In the good fight of faith, we
have a promise of a crown of life and a better country awaiting. We must
endure as a good soldier of the cross. Take time out to say a prayer for our
Country, leaders, lawmakers, also those in service both at home and
in foreign lands. We remember the fallen, their families and friends
today; and give thanks for those who were willing to serve their country.

We also pray that we, as Christians, might see the admonition of our Lord
in 2 Chronicles 7: 14, as He promises... "if my people which are called by
my name, shall humble themselves and seek my face, and turn from
their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven; and will forgive their sin
and will heal their land."

This whole world needs the prayers of God's people that all might come
to know and trust in Him. He has called each one into active duty but many
have not heeded the call. May we seek to share and care for every soul who
has not answered the call of the Lord. He will bless us for caring and hear
our every prayer. Our Lord guards the course of the just and protects the
way of His faithful ones.

'Thank you' to our Veterans and all those who serve our country!

~COUNTING THE COST~

We must count the cost to reach the lost
Take up our cross and follow Him,
Jesus who died and was crucified,
Came to give new life and take away our sin.

There is a price that we must pay
We must be willing to make Jesus Lord of all,
Each day we must take up our cross as we go our way,
God will always be there, when on His name we call.

We are disciples called to proclaim God's love
There is a message to be shared,
When we proclaim the salvation of God,
Souls will hear of a Savior and know how much He cares.

~IN HIS SERVICE~

There is much that can be done
in the service of our Lord,
When we reach out to others,
we will reap heaven's reward.

When we do unto others
we are abundantly blessed,
God gives us peace, joy and love
In Him we can find rest.

In the service of the Lord
whatever we do for one another
is doing what our Lord would do,
when we help a sister or brother.

There are multitudes who are dying
without hope or one to care,
Will we reach out to others,
will we their burden bear?

Time is moving swiftly
soon it will be the day of the Lord,
What we do each day for Jesus
determines our eternal reward.
