I enjoyed the sweet and innocent trick or treating as a kid. My brother and I would try to get the biggest pillowcase filled in the house. Yea, I hate that they gored it all up.

Yes, I enjoyed it also, but it was different back then. We enjoyed dressing up as other things and yes, even ghosts and such. But we understood they were bad things and it was just one night to be goofy. But now, it is a religion that goes on all year and all we are doing is joining in with the satanists and other cults to worship their god. Its the trend I see where Christmas is being pushed aside and Halloween is being used to replace it.

It's too bad that it isn't still just a fun day for kids to be goofy.

Ah but it is still just a day to be goofy and dress up and munch on some candy. It's a secular day so it is all what you make of it. Plenty will try and tell you Christmas is really yule and you are celebrating a pagan holiday dressed up as a Christian one. That doesn't make them any more correct then those who worship false Gods on Halloween. Least that's how I look at it.
