Ok! it’s not bad enough that McDonald’s can make you fat! Now they support gays! I’m so dissapointed with them but i guess thats what happens in a un-Godly World.

This is ridiculous. I remember my father boycotting Disney back in the 90s for similar reasons. McDonalds is a worldwide entity. They make billions of dollars, and as such, I believe you would be ridiculing them if they didn’t try to improve the world around them in some way. They are simply putting their money towards a cause they believe in, and I support the idea.

What they are encouraging is tolerance. Not acceptance, not agreement, but tolerance, but I understand why you have difficulty hearing that message. The LGBT community is frequently discriminated against, and it is not so radical of a thought to believe that we should all have the same opportunities for success, despite what race, sex, or orientation we are. The same ideas (tolerance) have helped many people achieve success, even when persecuted by the outside, such as many religion-based businesses. McDonald’s is simply saying that we should all be treated equally. I seem to remember that being a part of some important document…

If you don’t want to eat McDonald’s, that’s fine. Like a PP said, it’s really not that healthy anyway. Really not so conducive to treating your body like a temple. McDonald’s is a publicly owned company, and is not subject to the Bible. If you did some research, I’m sure you’d find ties to similar groups among many of the fast food chains. Good luck finding a hamburger.

Absolutely they have a right to spend their money any way they see fit. I believe I said that in the post. Likewise, so do I and others that are offended by their support of this group.

Yeah, you’re right about the health issue. But hamburgers and french fries are GOOD! I’m 6′3″ 188 lbs with low cholesterol so they haven’t caught up to me yet!

Here’s an idea….

Don’t eat at McDonald’s.

Not because of the recent donation (they have the right to spend THEIR money however they choose. Would you want someone telling you that you can’t donate money to what you see as a worthwhile cause?), but rather because of all of the health issues that come with eating their food.

Have you seen Super-size Me? 25 pounds in 30 days from McDonalds!!!!

Now, you are healthy!

I quite agree that encouraging a sinner sure leads him more on the way to hell.The donation was meant to foster the desire of the gay society,supposing that money was used by the same macdonald to suport the spread of the gospel……..it will do a lot! I dare say it’s the same effect it is having spreading the gay gospel,converting many souls.the one big mac you buy contributes more to their cause…..imagine the millions of people that eats Macdonald fast foods.

If you saw the movie Supersize Me or even Fast Food Nation you would never eat fast food again.
The toll this stuff takes on your body is unreal….it should be a crime to sell this stuff.
Starbucks does the same endorsing. A couple years back they printed “coming out” stories on their cups in the San Fran area. Unreal.

I am one of those people who work at a Mcdonalds in TN, and I am appauled at what I am finding out, I can not support a Business that supports the homesexual community. So saying that I need to pray and seek God about my employment choice! Thankyou for this information

Yes, we are to hate the sin and not the sinner. However, when we support the sin and those fostering that sin, we are only enabling the sinner. Our Lord loved all sinners…all of us. He was never PC. “Go, and sin no more”, not “Hey, do your own thing!” I for one will not parce words to sound benevolent and “Lord like” for the approval of this world. I shall do as He directs me to do; keep loving, keep praying, and ask the Lord to use me as he can, as a tool to save souls, not cheer them on to hell. By the way. Processed fast foods, as MacDonald’s serves, is very unhealthy, but hey Jan, eat all you want! (just kidding). God Bless, and show strong love; truth is love (”I am the truth”), and can be used lovingly with wisdom.
