Hey Kevin, I completely agree with the principles of what you say. However, ZenBe is totally non-religious other than the name. The term enlightened is not in and of itself a religious term. It simply means informed. While I would not have picked that name for a site I can see their marketing approach to using the enlightenment theme with what they are offering for email. You won't see any new age stuff in the service itself.

Gravatar is not related to Zenbe. A gravatar is an avatar used in blogs. You can upload a small image to appear next to your name every time you make a post like this.

Maybe I'm just too old, but then again age really shouldn't have anything to do with it. I don't get it. ZenBe....enlighten your email. The whole Zenthing. What does that have to do with Christianity? For that matter, "gravatar"?! These references to false religions are offensive. Why would Christians want anything to do promoting the concepts and language of other religions? Again, I just don't get it. I'm a pretty liberal guy (for in his 50's) where culture is concerned (I like Christian Rock and casual dress), but when it comes to theology, I'm very conservative. Let's stick to promoting Jesus, the Bible and it's language and images, not false gods. How about it? Or is it just me?
